it's that time again! beacon lighting are having their special sale; buy one lamp, and get your second lamp half price!
i know i should be saving, but i've had my eye on these for such a long time!




this stunning paris chandelier light design, with four bulbs and silk shade, is made from chrome and crystal. mmmmmmmm lovely!

i mentioned i'm a huge lighting fan, but may not have mentioned i'm a bit of a kook.
now here are four lamps that your either going to fall in love with or absolutely detest, but i'm sure they'd make great company in the dark!



little hedwig owl and cute flower skunk table lamps can be adopted from urban outfitters.


the rabbit lamp can be captured from moooi, who are amazing dutch designers that create modern pendant lighting, lamps, and a unique array of suspension lighting.


and lastly, saving, in what i imagine is, the best till last…


the horse lamp! agian from moooi, with the dimensions of a life size steed, its no wonder the price is just as big. but i think this is the pony to bet on.

lighten up

so what's another obsession of mine?
lighting. i can't go past a lighting shop or department without looking in; even though i can't put them anywhere yet. my main weakness in particular- chandeliers! so dramatic and feminine. i pray for a house with high ceilings!



this modernized silver chrome luxe chandelier is amazing. and i also wouldn't mind the matching table lamp too thank-you!

gorgeous or grotesque? sinister or sweet? there is certainly something unsettling about these porcelain candle holders, but i've decided that they're devine.



use a dripless candle to keep their heads bald, if not, fashion them with locks of beeswax.
at around AU$150 a head, means i'll start saving now!
