time to get a clock
ive gone cuckoo looking for innovative and contemporary clock designs.
some worth mentioning are
the cuckoo meridiana clock- a clean cut clock with a working chirping cuckoo bird.
the progetti random wall clock - a timepiece made from 13 separate blocks. keep them close or spread them as far apart as you desire.
the clocky - an adorable alarm clock that rolls straight off your desk to get you out of bed.
the Cuckoo Forest Clock - a modernised silhouette design of a traditional cuckoo wall clock.

apologies for such a post drought! but here is what i've been too busy with!
the uni girls and i collaboratively constructed an immersive environment that asks what is the natural and what is the unnatural? what is the animate and what is the inanimate? what is the old and what is the new?
using recyclable mundane objects, suspension, sounds and lighting we created an artistic interior installation, incorporating ideas of life and death, birth and re-birth.
who knew what you could do with a truck load of plastic cups?

i definitely want to get my hands, or should i say feet, on this one! introducing the come in go away door mat.
this incredible graphic designed doormat by sam and jude, reads "come in" for a lovely invitation into your home. however if your not feeling very sociable, rotate it to read "go away".

mirror mirror on the wall
i just bought, nay, won this french provincial style vintage mirror from ebay!
isn't it lovely?
sorry, don't think i'm bragging my bones away, but this is actually my first ebay buy, so i had to share my success! measuring 108 x 97cm and costing me only $112.50AU, i think i did pretty well!
only trouble is, now i'm not sure i can stop!

i heart tea
do you heart tea parties? heart tea cups!
japanese designer wagokoro-ya has come up with a beautiful series of tableware.
each item is heart-shaped top to bottom, inside and out and come in a variety of colours and styles! very cute and classy and perfect for the romantic.
there's a whole set available ranging from spoons to soup bowls!
my favourites for additions would have to be the adorable teapot with heart shaped spout and the sweet heart sugar bowl.
the series is also available in star shapes and even christmas trees for the holiday season!

bathroom bliss
i found a new range of attractive and affordable acrylic bathroom accessories!
the glam range is made from crystal acrylic and looks just like glass, but won’t break if accidentally dropped on your bathroom tiles!
these are my picks;
cotton bud canister, with centre compartment for storing cotton buds.
tissue box.
cotton pad canister, with slot down the front to allow for easy access.
two piece stackable storage cube set. i think it's perfect for storing bath bombs and small pretty soaps or even your bobby pins!

going on a bear hunt? well iv'e caught a big one! a big sleeping grizzly bear bean bag!
yes i do mean bean bag! measuring 51cm x 70cm x 103cm with knitted realistic graphics to resemble a big hibernating grizzly, by chic sin design.
so brilliant and adorable! perfect in a nursery or kids room but i definitely want one just for me!

chrome and crystal
it's that time again! beacon lighting are having their special sale; buy one lamp, and get your second lamp half price!
i know i should be saving, but i've had my eye on these for such a long time!
this stunning paris chandelier light design, with four bulbs and silk shade, is made from chrome and crystal. mmmmmmmm lovely!

it's available as a ceiling light as well as a floor lamp, and comes in black or white. can't choose what colour you prefer, like me? maybe get one of each!
